At Brown Skin Women, we create opportunities for women to connect through social gatherings, shared experiences, and community.
This policy provides clarity and fairness for our guests, members, and business while allowing us to honor commitments to venues, partners, and event providers.
Please review this policy before purchasing tickets or memberships.
Events & Gatherings
This policy applies to BSW Socials and other ticketed experiences hosted by Brown Skin Women.
Ticket Purchases
All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law.
Because our gatherings involve advance planning, limited capacity, and commitments to venues and partners, we cannot generally provide refunds for changes in personal plans, scheduling conflicts, or inability to attend.
Complimentary Events
Some BSW Socials and community gatherings may be offered at no cost.
Registration may still be required, and space may be limited.
If you register for a complimentary gathering and can no longer attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration or notify us so your space can be made available to another guest.
Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another guest unless otherwise stated in the event details.
To request a transfer, contact us before the event with your registration information and the name and email address of the new attendee.
Transfers are subject to event requirements and availability.
Event Changes or Cancellations
If Brown Skin Women cancels an event, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to a future gathering.
If we make a significant change to an event, such as its date, location, or format, affected ticket holders will be notified and offered a refund or transfer option, as applicable.
Minor adjustments to event programming, activities, or schedules do not automatically qualify for refunds.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Community Memberships
Brown Skin Women may offer paid memberships that provide access to community spaces, gatherings, or additional member benefits.
Membership Payments
Membership pricing, billing frequency, benefits, and renewal terms will be disclosed before purchase.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the applicable membership period begins, except where otherwise stated or required by law.
Membership Cancellations
Members may cancel future renewals according to the cancellation instructions provided at enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation prevents future billing but does not automatically provide a refund for the current membership period.
Membership access generally remains available through the end of the paid period, subject to the applicable membership terms.
Changes to Membership Offerings
If Brown Skin Women makes material changes to membership benefits, pricing, or availability, members will be notified as appropriate.
Any applicable refund or cancellation rights will be honored.
Exceptions & Consideration
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise.
While this policy applies in standard situations, we encourage guests and members to contact us with concerns.
Requests for exceptions will be reviewed individually. Any discretionary exception does not change the policy for future purchases.
Nothing in this policy limits rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws.
